What happens if Athena detects a problem? Or stops working?
If Athena identifies a performance concern, our team can review the data and often help you through a virtual visit before a small issue turns into a larger repair. If your home temporarily loses Wi-Fi, Athena will continue functioning as a standard thermostat until connectivity is restored. And if the device itself ever fails, Parthenon will replace it at no cost as part of your membership.
Who qualifies for the Athena Plan?
Athena is available to homeowner-occupied residential properties within Parthenon’s service area. For full functionality (specifically Virtual Visits, mobile app control and mobile alerts), homes must support smart thermostat technology with available Wi-Fi and a designated smartphone or tablet. Rentals and commercial properties are not eligible.

What are the cancellation terms?
Customers must complete and sign a cancellation request form. If a Parthenon Partnership is canceled during the first 12 months (or 36 months for Athena Plan members), the card or bank account on file in the customer’s account will be charged the full amount of the discounts received for work including the regular, non-member pricing for tune-ups/maintenances, discounts for parts and labor and discounted service fees. For Athena Plan holders, an additional $299 termination/buyout fee will apply for each Athena thermostat installed.
