#1 Drain Cleaning & Unclogging in Nolensville, TN

The water in the Volunteer State ranges widely from soft to moderately hard, depending on where each location’s water supply originates. Nolensville, unfortunately, is on the latter end of that spectrum since this town resides in Williamson County, the Tennessee county with the hardest water, averaging 139 mg/L. With hard water levels like this, drain cleaning and unclogging in Nolensville, TN, become crucial.

Understanding how this and other factors clog drains can prove difficult. Parthenon Plumbing, Heating, & AC Repair, with 17 years of experience providing plumbing services in Nolensville, TN, can help.

★★★★★
I am a "Parthenon Partner" which means I get two HVAC tuneups each year as well as a plumbing checkup. Both of those services were performed today. I value punctuality, and the HVAC tech and the plumbing tech were able to arrive earlier than their scheduled window. Both of the young men were polite and professional. They gave me a verbal report before leaving, and will send me a report on anything that needs to be watched. The big thing to me is they do NOT recommend anything unless it is critical and they will show you why it needs attention. I highly recommend Parthenon for your plumbing and HVAC service.

Finally, a plumbing company that still believes in fair and honest pricing, and being punctual! Guys, I asked my wonderful tech, Eli, if I could tip him via cash app/venmo/etc after he said expeditiously and neatly capped off my water lines, and he said “oh no ma’am, that’s alright, they pay me enough”. I almost FAINTED. Nowadays you can’t buy an ice cream cone without tipping someone.

Parthenon Plumbing was at our home within just a few hours of calling them. The technician was knowledgeable and professional. While I hated to hear the diagnosis (our 16 year old unit is nearing end-of-life), I’m thankful that Parthenon can install a new unit before the winter weather sets in.

★★★★★
I use Parthenon for both my plumbing and HVAC needs, they’re top of the line! Fast, knowledgeable, and fair. Great experience every time.

★★★★★
Parthenon is what you want in a local plumbing company. Good communicators, professional and polite staff, excellent work, fair price, and a few suggestions (not high pressure upsales) from technician about opportunities for improvement.

★★★★★
Appreciate the consistent communication, timeliness, and transparency of this company. Have had plumbing and HVAC services and both were great...Always respectful, timely, and competent. Highly recommend!

Cody did a great job on my HVAC cleaning/maintenance! He was personable and took the time to diagnose issues. James also did wonderful job on my plumbing cleaning/maintenance! He was kind and took the time to develop a plan for my house. Very pleased with Parthenon.

★★★★★
We had repeated issues with our kitchen sink leaking from pipes/garbage disposals. Other plumbing companies have gauged us with up-charges on quick fixes and advised us to purchase overpriced garbage disposals. Stan gave us options and advice - he made the decision easy for someone like me who is NOT handy, much less a plumbing professional. I highly recommend Parthenon!

★★★★★
I contacted them for a clogged kitchen drain a little before 1:00; they called back immediately. A few minutes later they called to say a repairman was on his way--allow 30 minutes to arrive. He was there by 1:30, did the job and was finished with the billing by 2:00. Not an emergency by any means, but awesome response.

★★★★★
Parthenon delivers best-in-class service. I had an emergency HVAC issue on a day that temperatures were going to be in the teens, and they not only squeezed me in that same day, but found a low-cost resolution to the problem. I’m joining their Partnership Program. As as a REALTOR®, I’m now moving them to the top of my “Preferred Vendors” list.

★★★★★
If you miss how small towns treat their customers and that’s what you’re looking for in a big city like Nashville, then Parthenon Plumbing are your people! This company took exceptional care of me and made me feel confident in the big decision...

AC went out at our house this afternoon. Called Parthenon and they were out within a couple of hours even tho we had never done business with them before. They were courteous, informative and got us squared away in no time. Didn’t try to to sell us anything but gave great advice. We’ll be using them the next time we need anything for AC and probably plumbing too. Super impressed.

Drain Cleaning & Unclogging in Nashville, TN

Hard Water Causing Clogs

Again, Williamson County has the hardest water in the state, with Davidson following with 115 mg/L and all other counties falling below 100, according to ResearchGate. That’s because Nolensville and all other towns in Williamson receive surface water from Smyrna and Metro Nashville. Groundwater also comes from a College Grove well and Mallory Valley U.D.

All these water sources come from oceans, lakes, and other natural sources that obtain and carry minerals like calcium and magnesium. When these minerals flow through our supply, discharge, and sewer lines, they collect in areas or stick to pipe walls, creating clogs. Tree roots and burrowing critters also create natural blockages, but other causes demand drain cleaning and unclogging in Nolensville, TN:

  • Toilets: Flushing sanitary napkins, diapers, or anything other than human waste and thin toilet paper
  • Sinks: Disposing of anything from sludgy fats, oils, and grease and absorbent pasta and rice to hard egg shells, bones, and pits
  • Tub or shower: Allowing hair, soap scum, body oils, or foreign objects like jewelry down the drain

Top Ways Professional Drain Services Removes Clogs

Drain cleaning experts in your area first try plunging to remove any clogs that might be causing water to pool around your drain or gurgle down the pipes. The vacuum seal over the opening of your toilet, sink, or tub drain creates a suction that pulls debris out of the pipes for proper disposal. However, a deep clog, solid obstruction, or small area that doesn’t allow the plunger to fit renders this method ineffective.

The next option includes snaking for medium-sized clog removals deeper in the discharge line. Licensed plumbers insert the metal cable into the drain, twisting it to grind debris, tree roots, and other obstructions. If the clog is even deeper in the household sewer line or is more severe, hydro-jetting with pressurized water is your best bet.

Chemical cleaners are also ideal for drain cleaning and unclogging in Nolensville, TN, since they break down debris and sanitize the pipes. However, an expert should do this with eco-friendly chemical solutions, protective gear, and proper ventilation.

About Nolensville

Nolensville may have a small-town charm, but it has a rich history filled with settlements and war stories. When William Nolen and his family first passed through in 1797, they decided the land was ideal for cultivating due to its natural resources and rich soil. So, the Revolutionary War veteran turned it into Nolensville.

Ever since the town has seen battles between Union and Confederate soldiers during the Battle of Nolensville. This battle launched the Stone River Campaign, and a historical marker now sits next to Nolensville Pike in commemoration. While many go to visit this marker, others prefer to take in this history at the Nolensville School Museum, which offers tours of the:

  • Historic Classroom
  • 1937 Kitchen
  • Grady Bob’s Work Shop
  • 4-H History Room
  • Nolensville Sports Hall of Fame

The Nolensville Historical Society and Nolensville United Methodist Church are just a few other historical landmarks.
